Where do I find the IRS extension transmission notification?

The approval of your IRS tax extension can be substantiated by the following details: 

IRS Submission ID

RS Electronic Postmark 

IRS Acceptance Status

To locate the notification, log back into your account using your email and password used to create the account.  

• Click on, "Tax Filings" in the top right corner of the screen.  
• Click on the "Personal" or "Business" Extension Tab and "view details" to the left of the extension (see below).  
• You will find the IRS Submission details under the "Current Status" tab (see below).

Locate the appropriate tax extension Current Status.
